This is the new hot trend! Several top sports people, including Andy Murray, swear by the benefits of hot yoga to reduce injury risk and increase strength and flexibility. You might be a runner, a cyclist or play rugby, netball or tennis. Whatever high impact activity you do your muscles need time to recover. When you work out, lactic acid builds up in your muscles which can lead to muscle soreness and fatigue. Stretching after a workout helps to reduce muscle fatigue. At yoga for sport and flexibility we begin by warming the body which in turn brings increased blood circulation this aids cellular recovery as well as lactic acid elimination. Don’t worry though, if you’re not super sporty, this class will also bring benefits of flexility, strength and stamina as well as leaving you feeling relaxed and refreshed. The Feel Hot Yoga centre in St Albans offers some amazing classes: http://feelhotyoga.co.uk/
